The Round diamond, or brilliant cut diamond is by far the most popular shape for diamond engagement rings it is cone-shaped to maximize light return through the top of the diamond.
Set in yellow gold, these warm colored diamonds appeal to some, and are an exceptional value. Others will feel they have too much color. Due to its perceptible color tint, a K diamond is often half the price of a G diamond.
Slightly Included category (SI) diamonds have noticeable inclusions that are easy to very easy for a trained grader to see when viewed under 10x magnification.
