Yes, every final product valued at $1000 or above is always accompanied by a full insurance evaluation.

No personally we do not insure the diamonds we sell but as mentioned above we provide an insurance appraisal that provides coverage. In addition to this we have also united with Jewellers Mutual Insurance Company; under that you can separately insure your diamond with its personal Jewellery insurance which gives you a sense of security, entitlement and emotional safety.

All the international orders placed via website come with free shipping policy but once the package arrives in your country, taxes and duties will be charged from you. Shipping is done via FedEx International Priority if the valuation of the package is above $500 and if it below $500 then the shipping is done through USPS Priority Mail.

Yes! Almost Every ring on the Diamond Guru website is available for purchase, regardless of whether you purchase a centre diamond from us but many designs of rings cannot be made until the diamond is physically present due to their intricate manufacturing which includes tension settings, rings with diamond halos, and other unique designs. In cases like these we advise that you send the diamond to our offices and pay a nominal amount of $100 as setting fee. To order those designs, please contact our offices and we will provide you with an exact shipping and insurance quotation. For more you can check plethora of options available at DiamondGuruLounge. When you check out with just a setting (and not a diamond), please provide us with the exact shape and a belled dimension of your diamond, so we can include properly sized prongs.

Please Note: Though we take every possible step in ensuring that the diamond we provide is absolutely as per the standards; DiamondGuruLounge cannot be responsible for any damage that may occur during the setting process. CZ (cubic zirconium), diamond stimulants, clarity-enhanced diamonds, gemstones, or other diamond substitutes are particularly prone to damage. Any diamond stimulants or enhanced diamonds should be clearly marked as such when sent to our offices.

Our Diamonds and Jewellery

In diamond industry various authorised institutes provide certificate of authenticity to the companies which includes Gemological Institute of America (GIA), American Gem Society (AGS), or International Gemological Institute (IGI); certification by them in itself explains the quality, grading and key characteristics of the diamond.

The Four C’s — Carat (size), Color, Clarity and Cut are the grading standards provided by the prestigious Gemological Institute of America (GIA). It determines the quality and various specific features of the diamond.

A cut in diamond represents how effective the diamond is in returning the light to the viewer’s eye. If the diamond is well cut it shines brighter and looks brilliant and if not it loses its lustre and brilliance. Hence, it is very important for a diamond to have a proper cut and shape. “Eye-Clean” is a term which is used to describe a clean diamond to an unaided eye in a face-up position from a distance of 8 to 10 inches. Diamonds of VS2 or higher in quality will usually be eye-clean. Diamonds of SI1, SI2 and I1 need to be visually inspected to determine whether any inclusions are visible from the top. We can inspect any diamond at no charge.

Along with the diamond we also ship an independent GIA, AGS or IGI lab report and certificate which in case of doubt can be examined by a qualified gemologist.

Smaller diamonds in size which are often called as melee are cut in factories around the globe. It is available in different forms and qualities.

The lowest quality goods are usually a belled as “commercial” and consist of I/J/K color and I1 clarity. “Promotional” goods are finer in quality in respect of both color and clarity, but are still cut for maximum weight. The prime qualities of diamonds are often labelled as “Collection”.

Collection diamonds are finer in both color and clarity. They’re precisely cut to maximize fire and brilliance. Collection quality goods are always only available from specialty dealers.

Diamond Guru only sells diamonds that are 100% natural and untreated. They are not modified with respect to their quality, colour or treatment. Also, the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), the American Gem Society (AGS), and the International Gemological Institute (IGI) will never issue an authentic certificate for treated diamonds in any way.

Conflict-free diamonds are diamonds which sans any vices like human rights abuses, child labour, violence, or environmental degradation. Payments

DiamondGuruLounge accepts all sorts of payments. If your order valuation is above $1000 then you can also pay through wire transfer. All the instructions of wire transfer will be available at the time of checkout page. Also we must receive confirmation about the same and post that shipping is done.

Yes. Bank wire customers receive a 1.5% discount on their final order prices.

DiamondGuruLounge only collects sales tax on orders that are shipped to California and Chicago.

Return Policy

Returns

DiamondGuruLounge has adopted a very flexible and customer friendly return policy where in if you are not satisfied with the goods delivered at your place you can easily return them back to us within 15 days in its original, non damaged condition. After inspection of the goods a refund/exchange will be initiated from our end. Also to return a product you can simply follow these 3 steps: Contact our Customer Service department at 800-553-4265. 2. Direct the representative that you wish to return your order. 3. After your order arrives at our office, all applicable refund will be processed within two weeks in a form of original purchase method. Bank wires will be refunded via company check.

Our upgrade policy says that any loose diamond purchased from DiamondGuruLounge for more than $10,000.00 can be exchanged at 100% credit for any replacement diamond of at least 2X or greater value than the original purchase. The diamond that is being upgraded must be in original condition and accompanied by the original laboratory grading document.
